OnePlus had introduced one smartphone this year, the OnePlus 3.
This is the most powerful device this company had introduced, and it
landed back in June. The OnePlus 3 is a really powerful phone which
packs in the Snapdragon 820, 6GB of RAM and a metal body, while it costs
only $399. The company has been having issues keeping this phone in
stock, probably due to the 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED panel that they’re
using here, but they’re planning to introduce yet another phone on
November 15th, the OnePlus 3T. The company had teased a new smartphone a
couple of days ago, and now they’ve released a new teaser, read on.
If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll get to see OnePlus’ new OnePlus 3T
teaser, and as you can see, the company confirms the name of this
device in that image, well, more or less. As you can see, the ‘T’
branding is visible in the mirror, and chances are the phone will be
called the OnePlus 3T as rumors have suggested, as the device pictured
above actually looks identical to the OnePlus 3 from the back. Now, this
phone will also be made from metal, just like the OnePlus 3, though
this device is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 821 out of the box,
not the Snapdragon 820 like the OnePlus 3. The OnePlus 3T will also
sport a new camera sensor on the back it seems, it will be the
16-megapixel snapper as on the OnePlus 3, but this will be a newer
sensor, quite probably Sony’s IMX398 sensor with a wider f/1.7 aperture.
The 3,300mAh battery is expected to be available on this phone as well,
which is an improvement over OnePlus 3’s 3,000mAh battery pack.
Now, the display size will remain unchanged on the OnePlus 3T, which
means we’ll get a 5.5-inch display once again, but it is possible
OnePlus plans to include an LCD display this time around instead of the
AMOLED panel they’ve included in the OnePlus 3, as that would probably
solve their production issues considering they wouldn’t have any
problems acquiring enough LCD panels, especially if we’re talking about
fullHD panels. That is more or less it, though it is worth mentioning
that the company released some new captions with the aforementioned
teaser image, right below the image you’ll see the ‘To Be A Better Me’
caption, accompanied by ‘NeverSettle’ and ‘NeverStop’ hashtags.
