As a welcome offer, Reliance Jio has now been made available Jio SIM for free for all Indians and services will be available for free till December 15. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has given clean chit to Jio over their life time offer of free calls for their customers.
Responding to statement from TRAI, Reliance Jio said: “This (Trai’s letter) clearly establishes the fact that all the tariffs offered by RJIL are in compliance with the prevailing regulations. A key feature of RJIL’s tariff packs is free voice calling for Local, STD and National roaming for all times..”
Jio is offering unlimited 4G mobile broadband till December 31. Basically, all services voice and data are free for all subscribers till December 31. After 3rd December, Jio will launch new tariffs and offers for customers.
Mukesh Ambani at the Annual General Meeting(AGM) also said, "India has seen Ghandhigiri and now its time to see datagiri."
