Lumia 525 gets Android Marshmallow, unofficially via hackers!

Recently, Microsoft leaked the keys to the Secure Boot kingdom which allowed users to install alternate operating systems on devices locked down by Secure Boot.

This was not as much of an issue on PC since secure boot could be easily turned off via bios which was an open option for all the motherboard manufacturers. but after the release of such " keys to secure boot" by Microsoft it was clearly expected to allow hackers to install other operating systems on their Windows phones and other windows RT tablets.

The above video was surfaced online in which the hacker Triszka Balázs has shown android marshmallow to be running on a Lumia 525.

He wrote - " reset vector exploit only for S4 SoC series" which doesn't indicate that whether he was using this exploit or another. and any device that supports WP internal for bootloader unlock can now RUN Android easily.

He noted however that it was hard work to get all the drivers working, and that only getting the Lumia 520/525 screen to work too a few months.
He promised a developer preview in a week or two, which will leave more advanced readers with the choice of running Windows Phone or Android on their devices.
